College programs lauded by USA Today

USA Today’s College Factual ranked Simmons College third on its list of best U.S. colleges to study health professions. The strength of the College’s numerous health professions programs, a small student-to-faculty ratio and high retention and on-time graduation rates were all factors in this ranking.

Judy A. Beal, Dean of the School of Nursing and Health Sciences was particularly proud that the College Factual rankings include outcomes-based metrics. “Our programs not only prepare students to be highly skilled health professionals, our graduates enjoy long, fulfilling careers. They are leaders in their field and committed to life-long learning.”

Simmons School of Nursing and Health Sciences offers baccalaureate degrees in nursing, nutrition and dietetics, nutrition and food, a dual degree in exercise science (BS) and physical therapy (DPT) as well as numerous post-baccalaureate degree programs in health sciences.
