Goodnight MoonGreetings to all with the SLIS End of Year eCard! This eCard began with the question, "What was your favorite book as a child?" Click the link below to view a bookshelf of SLIS responses.

Of the 142 responses, there were 116 distinct titles. The most frequently mentioned titles included Goodnight, Moon by Margaret Wise Brown, My Father's Dragon by Ruth Stiles Gannett, The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis, and The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett. J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter and Laura Ingalls Wilder's Little House books received the most mentions for favorite series.

Many thanks to Dane Groves, Casey DeBuse, Samantha Strain, and Jenny Rae Bailey for the creation of this year's eCard. Thanks also to the SLIS students, faculty, staff, and alumni who shared their favorite childhood book.
