Prof. Veilleux's proposal selected for CREU program

Prof. Nanette Veilleux's proposal for the 2014-15 Collaborative Research Experience for Undergraduates (CREU) program was selected. Three undergraduate students will participate in a research project and receive stipends from this program. The student cohorts have been invited to meet at The Grace Hopper Conference in 2015.

MLIP student Alexia Hudson-Ward's article "Diversity and Inclusion: Online Resources for Education" was published in the June edition of College and Research Libraries News. Another article, "Eyeing the New Diversity: An Emerging Paradigm for Recruitment and Retention" was published in the July/August issue of American Libraries.

Incoming student Joyce Gabiola was selected as The Association of Research Libraries (ARL) Diversity Scholar. Gabiola will begin her MS degree this fall.
