Seniors, excited about graduation but still need a job? Sophomores and juniors, still thinking about that summer or fall internship and feel the need to finally move on it? Grad students, are you thinking about next steps after you graduate in May?

Well, you’re all in luck. The single largest recruitment event of the year at Simmons will be held on campus on Wednesday, March 25.

The Spring Career & Internship Fair, an annual event at Simmons, will be held from 2-5 pm in the Linda K. Paresky Conference Center. The event, produced by the Career Education Center and open to all Simmons students, brings dozens of employers to campus from across a broad range of industries, including arts and culture, communications and media, education, financial services, government, health care, human services, nonprofits, and retail and sales.

With the job market on the rebound this year, employers are looking to staff up and recruit new talent – you! They will be on campus to recruit graduating seniors for full-time opportunities, underclassmen (well, underclass-women) for internships, and graduate students and alums for a range of positions. A selection of registered employers includes:

  • Autism Bridges
  • Bay Cove Human Services
  • Boston Ballet
  • Boston Medical Center
  • Brown Brothers Harriman
  • Commonwealth Financial Network
  • Cradles to Crayons
  • Fidelity Investments
  • IBM
  • Match Education
  • Museum of Fine Arts
  • New England Center for Children
  • Nordstrom
  • Peace Corps
  • Prudential
  • Putnam Investments
  • Somerville Community Access TV
  • Vinfen

. . .and many more!

What can you do to prepare? Several things, including tuning up your resume, preparing your elevator speech, practicing your best smile and handshake, and dressing for success.
