Gifts to The Simmons Fund Matched Dollar-for-Dollar

Throughout the month of March, a generous alumna who has given to Simmons consecutively for more than 30 years will match your gift to The Simmons Fund, dollar-for-dollar, as part of the second Match Madness Challenge.

“When you participate in Match Madness, your gift will have twice the impact,” says Lauren Reilly Doty ’02, director of annual giving.  “It’s the perfect time for alumnae/i, students, faculty, and staff to make their gifts to Simmons.”

The first Match Madness Challenge in 2011 raised nearly $1 million for Simmons students with gifts from more than 6,000 alumnae/i and friends – numbers Doty is eager to replicate this time around.

“Participation from our alumnae/i will be the key to our success in this Challenge,” she says. “Your gift of $25 moves the participation needle just as much as a gift of $25,000. It all adds up to more support for Simmons students.”

President Drinan echoes her sentiments, saying, “I am constantly impressed by our community’s commitment to providing essential resources for our students. Your support during Match Madness will allow us to expand and increase financial aid opportunities for these exceptional student leaders.”
