Education at Work

Message from President Helen G. Drinan '75LS, '78SM

Helen Drinan Dear Simmons alumnae/i and friends,

You know firsthand that the educational opportunities for students at Simmons College are life-changing. Our students live, learn, and develop in a supportive community that is preparing them to be effective leaders in their careers and lives.

Our $100 million Making Education Work Campaign has been greatly expanding opportunities for our students, in the classroom and beyond. Right now, students are working with the New England Aquarium to conserve marine life, studying web design in Denmark, leading campaigns to raise awareness about the national debt – and doing so much more. This is truly education at work.

I hope you are as inspired as I am by the achievements of our students, faculty, and alumnae/i. Our ongoing success in educating future leaders is directly tied to your support for the Making Education Work Campaign, which is expanding innovative educational opportunities for every member of the Simmons community.

In these final days before the Campaign ends on June 30, I hope you will show your generous support for our students and our important mission, and make a gift to Simmons.

Kind regards,

Helen G. Drinan ’75LS, ’78SM
