Education blogs can often be a great source for students and teachers. Not only do bloggers share classroom-tested curriculum ideas but they also provide links to interesting articles and ask thought provoking questions. Here are two recommended Science ones to get you reading.
Science for All is written by Kirk Robbins, Curriculum Coordinator of Science & Health/Fitness for a large school district in the state of Washington.
What's It Like on the Inside is written by Tara Richerson, a teacher and self proclaimed "Science Goddess". Tara also writes the Excel for Educators blog which is worth a look too.
Curriculum Resource of the Week
Real World Math is a website for educators who "wish to extend the concepts of the math curriculum beyond the pages of the text." Within the site you will see lesson ideas, examples, and downloads for standards based active and project based learning.
