This a great resource for students, both art majors and students taking an art class, who are beginning the research process. Users may search for specific reference sources and background information, search article databases in art, find images of art pieces and biographies of famous artists.

Literature Research & Resources
This is the perfect place for English majors, students taking English classes and literary buffs to begin their research. Use reference sources to find background information on your topic. A literary criticism section includes resources such as the Encyclopedia of Contemporary Literary Theory: Approaches, Scholars, Terms and A Glossary of Contemporary Literary Theory. You can also search for electronic resources that contain articles on literature topics.

MLA Bibliography
This resource is particularly strong in the areas of literature, language and linguistics, folklore, literary theory and criticism and dramatic arts. The MLA Bibliography provides detailed citations for journal articles, books, essay collections, working papers, proceedings, dissertations and bibliographies. Among other features, the advanced search allows you to limit searches by foreign language.

Arts & Humanities Citation Index
Find scholarly articles from the most respected and highly-cited Arts and Humanities journals. In addition to searching by topic, author, source and more, you also can use this database to track references cited in articles, allowing you to find articles that cite previously published works.

ARTstor
Find images in the areas of art, architecture, the humanities and social science, with a set of tools to view, present and manage images.  Faculty may also create their own image collections and presentations for class.
