        <![CDATA[Simmons College recently hosted an all day STAND on our campus to promote anti-racism and social justice. The <a href="http://www.standagainstracism.org/">Stand Against Racism</a> is a movement of the YWCA that aims to eliminate racism by raising awareness through its annual day of organized events across the country. Individuals are invited to join any of the "Stands" where hundreds of thousands of people will take a Stand Against Racism.<br /><br />Support the Stand!<br /><ul><li>Sign the petition in the lobby of the MCB to show your support for the Stand.</li><li>Check out the Library display of anti-racist and social justice books and media.</li><li>Join the teach-in Thursday, May 3rd, at 3pm when Dr. Peggy gives the Dotson Visiting Scholar Lecture hosted by the School of Nursing and Health Sciences.<br /></li></ul>]]>
