Teaching in Spring 2013? You can now view and import items from your previously-taught courses, or create new courses that don't yet exist in our reserves system. If your course will be using Moodle in Spring 2013, access your reserves account through your Moodle course. Otherwise, go to http://libfs3.simmons.edu/ares/ to manage course reserves. Please email our reserves staff with your questions, at reserves@simmons.edu, or call 617-521-2796.
At the end of the semester, study space is in high demand. In order to preserve study space for Simmons students, the Library is only open to Simmons students, faculty, staff, and alumnae from November 26th - December 17th.

Bring your ID or alum card. Non-Simmons community members who need research access to Library materials can make an appointment via the Request for Access form.

National Picture Book Month

Happy National Picture Book Month! The Library is hosting a display in honor of all your favorite childhood books. Come see classics like Where the Wild Things Are and Harold and the Purple Crayon along with contemporaries like Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! and The Wolves in the Walls. Visit the Library and check out a few books for the special child in your life or for yourself.

Simmons International Film Series

The second installment of the Simmons International Film Series, co-sponsored by the Library and the Department of Modern Languages, will be held on Tuesday November 13th at 3pm in the Student Activities Conference Room. We will be screening Chocolat, a French-language film, with an introduction from Eduardo Febles, Associate Professor of French. All are welcome to attend the introductory talk and film screening.
