The Games of the XXX Olympiad will begin on Friday July 27th with the opening ceremony in London! Come in to the library to view our materials display for resources on all aspects of the Olympics and sports. View the list of materials and related resources on the Library Displays guide.

Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire), written by George R.R. Martin, is a series of epic fantasy novels set in a fictional medieval world. Martin is known for detailed descriptions and plot twists in the interwoven tales of several families as they angle for power. The series has been adapted for television by HBO and just completed its second season.
Please be aware that we currently have no access to the Oxford Reference
Online database. Until this issue has been sorted out, please use an alternative resource,
such as Credo Reference (most recommended), or Gale
