A celebration of May Day is the oldest tradition of Simmons College; this year students participated in May Day events for the 100th time. May Day is also known internationally as a day to acknowledge the labor movement. The Library is celebrating labor history with a book display; check it out to learn about Wobblies, feminist labor organizers, the Haymarket tragedy, and more. Learn more about the celebration of May Day on the 300 The Fenway blog.
