Librarians offer research consultations in order to assist faculty in identifying and utilizing the resources required for a publication, grant application, or conference presentation.
Interlibrary Loan
The Interlibrary Loan service enables faculty and students to borrow materials that are not available at the Library. Visit the Interlibrary Loan website or contact our staff at ill@simmons.edu for more information.
RefWorks
RefWorks is a web-based citation management program that allows the creation of a personalized collection of references that can be easily exported for use in your research.

ISI Web of Knowledge Citation Indexes
Social Science, Science and Technology, and Arts and Humanities Citation Indexes from ISI Web of Knowledge provide information on which journals are the most prestigious in a field and how often specific publications have been cited. See Citation Indexes for more information.
Table of Contents Alert Service
Many databases on the Library website offer table of contents alerts when new articles are added. Additionally, tictocs is a free service that enables users to be notified when periodicals they are interested in publish new content.
