First Year

Welcome the First Year Research & Resources page. This guide features resources that will help you do research in your first year and beyond. These resources will assist you in finding background information in encyclopedias and other reference sources, finding scholarly articles in databases, and learning how to cite your sources.

Librarians are available online or at the library to help you navigate through information. The library also offers weekly research paper clinics during the fall and spring semesters where students can get help with research and writing from a librarian and writing center tutor.
