Get help from a Simmons Reference Librarian now! Visit, chat, email or call us to get help with your research. You can reach us whenever and however it's most convenient for you.

  • Chat — Chat is offline. Contact us via email using the link below.
  • Text Message — Send a text message to us at 617.528.9521. It may take up to 5 minutes for a reply. Standard text messaging rates apply. Appropriate text messages include short answer and directional questions. If you require detailed assistance. such as project planning or in-depth research, please contact us via another method listed on this page so we can provide the best possible service.
  • Email — Send your reference questions to reference@simmons.edu and we will get back to you as soon as we can (generally within one day).
  • Phone — Call us at 617.521.2784 to speak with a librarian when the desk is open or leave us a message any time.
  • Research Appointment — Request a research appointment for in-depth help with research and library resources.
  • In Person — Visit the reference desk, located in the Library Information Commons, for research assistance. You can view our current hours here and directions to campus here.
