Terry Savage
A frequent guest on CNN, CNBC, PBS, and NBC, Terry Savage is an Emmy Award-winning commentator on personal finance. Her expertise comes from long experience in financial markets, initially as a stockbroker and later as a founding member of—and first woman trader on—the Chicago Board Options Exchange. She remains a registered investment advisor for both stocks and futures. Savage has been a nationally syndicated columnist for the Chicago Sun Times for 20 years and is a regular contributor to TheStreet.com.
She has also written several bestselling books, including a recently updated edition of her plain-talking handbook on retirement planning, The New Savage Number: How Much Money Do You Need to Retire? Savage currently serves on the board of directors of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, The Executives' Club of Chicago, and Junior Achievement of Illinois.
