Kate Harper, MS, PCC
Kate Harper is an executive coach and leadership development expert whose clients gain the perspective, confidence, and skills they need to lead more effectively, deliver results, and create value for their organizations. A former senior leader in technology companies and a Professional Certified Coach, Kate brings both business experience and coaching mastery to her work. She has worked with organizations worldwide spanning education, healthcare, information technology, financial services, and professional services. Kate excels at creating a compelling space for inner shifts that lead to new insight, new behaviors, and results. Her areas of expertise include:

With degrees in engineering and computer science, Kate began her career leading large global software projects for Apollo Computer and Hewlett-Packard. Following her work at HP, Kate helped found Peritus Software Services, taking the company from 5 to 500 people including a successful IPO. After Peritus, Kate worked with the leading world experts in virtual teams at NetAge, Inc. Their pioneering work with Shell Chemicals Global Finance team was featured in the Harvard Business Review. As a coach, Kate has supported executives to excel in organizations such as Shell Chemicals, Accenture, Fidelity Investments, Fallon Community Health Care, Gentle Giant Moving Company, Freeport-McMoRan, Monotype Imaging, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Kate holds a B.S. in Engineering from Swarthmore College and a master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois. She is a Professional Certified Coach and member of the International Coach Federation, a graduate of the Masters Coaching Program through Coach For Life, and a Master Certified Inspired Learning Facilitator.
She is the co-author of PAUSE: 52 Ways to Shift Any Outcome in Less Than a Minute, a book of practical mindfulness practices for leaders.
Kate volunteers as a coach for TED and is treasurer and board member of the Wingprint Foundation, a community of women who support a local non-profit that changes the lives of at risk young women.
