Pilita Clark

Pilita Clark, associate editor and business columnist at the Financial Times, writes a weekly column on modern corporate life as well as other feature stories. Between 2011 and 2017, she served as the paper's environmental correspondent covering issues from climate change to renewable energy, with a particular focus on the impact of low carbon policies on businesses and investors. Her work in this field earned her a number of prestigious honors, including being named the 2016 Environment Journalist of the Year in the British Press Awards. Clark was previously aerospace correspondent and deputy news editor on the main news desk at the Financial Times, as well as deputy editor of the FT Magazine. She started off her journalism career as a Washington correspondent for Australian newspapers and is a former Nieman Fellow at Harvard University.
