Former Chair, CBS Entertainment
One of the country's most respected executives in network television, Nina Tassler is former chair of CBS Entertainment. Under her leadership, CBS was the number-one network in 12 of the 13 years of her tenure, with megahit programming of such popular and critically acclaimed shows as The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, The Good Wife, and Madam Secretary. And in a notable advance against the legendary gender inequality in Hollywood, she is credited with bringing many female executives along with her to the top. Tassler is an inductee of the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame and a recipient of the Lucy Award from Women in Film. She currently serves on the executive committee of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation, and is a member of the board of trustees for Boston University and the board of the Paley Center for Media.
