Gretchen Carlson

Gretchen Carlson is among the nation's most recognized news anchors and a vocal advocate for equality and empowerment of women. A longtime fixture on Fox News, she was co-host on the number-one rated cable morning news show, Fox and Friends, for seven years before becoming host of her own current affairs program, The Real Story with Gretchen Carlson. Her 2015 bestselling memoir, Getting Real, recounts the arc of her career from local news reporter to national television personality and the lessons learned along the way. In 2016, Carlson became the public face of sexual harassment in the workplace after blowing the whistle on the misogynist culture at Fox News network. In the aftermath of her lawsuit, she has taken up the fight for safe working conditions for women, starting with creation of the Gift of Courage Fund to support organizations working with women and girls, including survivors of sexual harassment, assault, and abuse.
