12:00-3:00 Global Mindset: Breaking the Glass Border

Registration Fee: $129

The next leadership challenge for women will be to develop global leadership capabilities in the globalized business market. Global mindset is a crucial part of your leadership toolkit to ensure effective cross cultural and global assignments - particularly for women to advance and break the “glass border”. Research shows that successful global leaders are good at decoding what's going on around them in cross-cultural environments and choosing the right behavior under the right set of circumstances.

Included in your registration is the Global Mindset Inventory (a $150 value), a scientifically valid web-based survey that takes a few moments to complete. The completion of the GMI is required to attend this session. The link to the GMI will be sent to you upon completion of your registration. The GMI assessment tool provides insightful information and feedback on how you communicate, do business with, and influence people who are unlike yourself. Whether you are sitting in your office in the US, working with supply chain partners in China and colleagues in India or on an international assignment, your personalized GMI results will address areas of strength as well as areas for improvement. You will leave with a personal development plan to achieve higher levels of competency in this key 21st century leadership skill.

Due to the requirements of the GMI survey, registration for this session must be completed by March 15, 2012.
