A Pilot Study Describing the Hygienic Feeding Practices of Mothers and Childcare Providers
Project Goals and Objectives To describe infant formula preparation and feeding practices by mothers or child care providers for infants under the age of six months.
Questions to be answered:
Do mothers and child care providers practice hygienic infant formula preparation and storage techniques? (left over formula how stored for how long-refrig temp) Is the infant formula preparation area sanitary? Does the mother/child care provider follow safe and sanitary cleanup techniques? Do mothers and child care providers practice safe and sanitary infant feeding techniques?
