Jerome Offord, Jr. is the Manager, Corporate Inclusion for the Online Computer Library Center, Inc. (OCLC). He is responsible for managing the OCLC Inclusion Program, which includes building and developing external relationships and strategies to attract diverse talent to OCLC, and continuing to drive an internal culture that welcomes diversity as a critical contributor to the organization's effectiveness. In his role, Jerome is also responsible for managing the OCLC President's Inclusion Council, which is comprised of 22 OCLC employees who have volunteered to be Inclusion ambassadors in the organization.
Jerome has over 10 years of experience in higher education and has eight years of non-profit management experience. Jerome's educational background includes a B.S. in agriculture from Lincoln University of Missouri, a M.S. in higher education from Colorado State University, and an M.L.S. from Catholic University. Jerome has published several articles and has made presentations on numerous occasions about minority recruitment. Jerome also believes in serving the community. He is active with his fraternity, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. (the oldest historically African American collegiate fraternity) where he serves as the Fraternity's National Archivist and a member of its Historic Commission. On the local level, he mentors youths between the ages of 12 and 21.
