Mary Wilkins Jordan comes to Simmons GSLIS from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill where she is completing the doctoral program in the School of Information and Library Science. At UNC, Wilkins Jordan taught in the areas of Management, Human Resources, and International and Cross Cultural Perspectives. Prior to beginning her doctoral degree, Wilkins Jordan was the Library Director at the North Chicago (IL) Public Library and the Head of Administrative Services at the Kenosha (WI) Public Library. She has published articles in Public Libraries and Public Library Quarterly, and has had chapters accepted for inclusion in a textbook, Research Methods in Library and Information Science. Wilkins Jordan also has a J.D. from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law and worked as an attorney for several years before earning her master's degree in LIS.
