Paula Cohen has extensive experience designing, marketing and implementing information and knowledge services to numerous companies and organizations in a wide range of industries and sectors. She has been a long time advocate for demonstrating the essential value of an organization's information and knowledge assets as a competitive advantage and key to informed decision-making and operational effectiveness. A current interest is in assisting organizations with practical solutions to identify and capture their best problem-solving experiences and strategies to retain their organizational memory and knowledge assets.
Ms. Cohen has authored corporate histories, and articles on the role of business in public history, conducted trainings and workshops on the techniques for designing, marketing, and implementing corporate information and history programs.
A long time SLA member, Paula earned a joint MLS./MA as well as an MBA degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. She currently lives and works in Cambridge, MA. where she is active in a number of KM and information professional communities. She is currently serving on the Board of SLA Boston Chapter leading the Strategic Planning initiative.
