Donna Webber is the Simmons College Archivist, and has been a lecturer in GSLIS since 2001. She graduated from Concordia University in Montreal, and received masters degrees in American History and Library Science, with a concentration in Archives, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Before coming to Simmons College in 2004, Donna worked at the Countway Library at Harvard Medical School, MIT, and the Schlesinger Library.
As Simmons College Archivist, Donna is responsible for documenting the history of the College, and works with administrators, faculty, staff, students, and alumni to acquire records in all formats. She encourages all members of the Simmons community to use the resources of the Archives for teaching, research, and outreach.
Donna is active in the Society of American Archivists and New England Archivists, and recently co-authored Archival Internships: A Guide for Faculty, Supervisors and Students with GSLIS Professor Jeannette Bastian.
