A native of South Hadley, Massachusetts, Anna Popp has been availing herself of the Mount Holyoke College Library collection since attending high school.  After her undergraduate studies she went on to a career in marketing. A few years later, she left the field and took an entry level position at the West Springfield Public Library. Eight years, three positions and one graduate degree later, Anna now holds the position of Reference Librarian in the Adult Services Department.

Anna's professional interests draw upon her experience in marketing. She focuses on promotion and public relations for the library and implementing internal merchandising programs. She also serves on the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners Public Relations Advisory Committee.

Anna holds a BA in English from Mount Holyoke College. She received her MLS from Simmons College in 2006. In 2005 Anna was awarded the Kay Bader Scholarship from the Massachusetts Library Association serves as Exhibitor Liaison for the 2007 MLA Annual Conference and in 2007 was accepted to the Library Leadership Institute.
