Dodie Gaudet
Title: Cataloger, Consultant, Adjunct Professor
Email:

Dodie Gaudet began her library career in academia, but has worked primarily in non-traditional library settings.  During all of that time, she has been affiliated with Technical Services first as a copy cataloger, then as a cataloger, department manager and ultimately as a consultant and workshop leader specializing in AACR2 and MARC.  Currently, she is a self-employed Cataloger, Consultant and Teacher working for a variety of libraries and library organizations in Massachusetts and Connecticut. She is a past President of NETSL (New England Technical Services Librarians) and of MLA/TSS (Massachusetts Library Association / Technical Services Section).

Dodie holds a B.A. in History from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an M.S. in Library Science from Simmons College.  She spends her free time practicing Yoga, reading mystery books, completing crossword puzzles, and cooking gourmet meals.  She is also a Trustee of the Hatfield Public Library and President of the Friends of UMass/Amherst Libraries.  While commuting, she listens to classical music, not audio books.
