October 2009: Octoberfest, Library-style
For many of us, October is almost synonymous with Halloween, and in keeping with the theme, this month's InfoLink explores the real story of the Salem witch trials with Danvers historian and archivist Richard Trask. The snapshot profile subject is Sid Berger, the Ann C. Pingree Director of the Phillips Library at the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, which houses many of the original transcripts of the witchcraft trials.
This month's issue also includes a brief tour of the area's haunted libraries, as well as the first installment of InfoLink's new monthly feature, the CEC Career Corner.
