Applications Support Specialist

Bibliomation, a consortium of 48 public libraries and 20 K-12 schools, seeks an applications support specialist. Someone with a Masters in Library Science is preferred. Position responsibilities include training libraries on the current ILS (SirsiDynix Horizon system) and the next ILS (Evergreen, an open source ILS). Other responsibilities: create and maintain documentation; provide telephone help desk support for libraries; assist in the maintenance of members' site specific system requirements; prepare customized, special reports; test and troubleshoot changes to system software; perform other tasks consistent with this level of responsibility. HTML knowledge and familiarity with web design applications is also desired. Salary — mid $40,000 range.
