UNH Manchester, the university's urban, commuter campus seeks a full time, benefited Library Associate to provide patron access service to faculty, staff, students, and the greater Manchester community members. Responsibilities include direct oversight for the Reserves, Serials, and Records Maintenance functional areas, as well as participation on the reference team providing point-of-need reference service and formal instruction as assigned.
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree plus two (2) years library work experience. Additional desirable qualifications include graduate coursework in library science strongly preferred; strong organizational and communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with the Millennium system and other library resources (electronic and print); excellent customer-service skills; and ability to maintain positive working relationship with all UNH Manchester community members.
Starting annual salary is not to begin above $43,820. The finalist will be required to submit to a background check before commencing employment with the university.
