Information and Research Assistance Team Leader, Villanova University


Kimberley Bugg is the Team Leader of Information & Research Assistance and Service Development at Villanova University's Falvey Memorial Library in Pennsylvania. She holds a Master's Degree in Library Science from North Carolina Central University and Masters of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies from Clayton State University. Her interest in Popular Culture as a teaching tool influenced her thesis, "A Genre Approach to Spike Lee's 'He Got Game.'"

Bugg also has a record of innovation and technology integration in library services having worked on several projects and library redesigns that encourage a user-centered public services environment both physically and virtually.

She is an active member of the American Library Association, Association of College and Research Libraries. She serves on several committees, including Convenor of the Popular Culture Discussion Group. She has participated in the Vanderbilt Professional Institute for Library Leadership and the 2010 ALA Emerging Leaders Program.
