Reference Assistant, Nixon Peabody LLP
QUAL: M.L.S. candidate or recent graduate from ALA accredited program for part-time reference assistant position. Coursework related to special libraries sector (e.g., business, legal) or practical experience in
a special library setting a plus. Candidates must possess excellent administrative, communication and interpersonal skills; strong customer service orientation; and ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Must be a self-starter who can work independently or as part of a team. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products;
knowledge of Lexis, Westlaw, and PACER a plus; and knowledge of Sydney PLUS or other automated library system helpful.
DUTIES: Responsibilities
* Provide quick reference assistance to attorneys and staff
* Research companies and individuals
* Retrieve cases, docket filings, public records, and agency filings
* Perform bibliographic research and article retrieval
* Update daily watches
* Conduct offsite research as needed

Senior Requirements Analyst, EBSCO Publishing
QUAL: The ideal candidate will have experience in library services or products and a strong understanding of search, academic research, and/or library sciences. Must have highly demonstrable skills creating user flows, sitemaps, wireframes, screen prototypes and functional specifications. The ability to multi-task and work independently is critical, while maintaining team involvement and meeting deadlines and deliverables. Must be extremely organized, detail oriented, and accurate; with strong problem solving and analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a positive attitude are necessary in this position.
Required qualifications include:
• Bachelor's degree .
• 7+ years of progressive experience in Information Architecture, Requirements Analysis, or Product Management on web-based software, search, and/or library technology products.

EP's EBSCOhost Product Management team is currently seeking a Senior Requirements Analyst to gather, analyze, document and validate the needs of project stakeholders within our organization. As the principal conduit through which requirements flow between the customer community and the software development team, the Senior Requirements Analyst
plays a central role in collecting and disseminating product information.
Responsibilities include:
• Plan, prepare and facilitate collaborative requirements sessions with cross functional teams. Create clean and concise wireframes, use cases, site maps, flow diagrams, screen prototypes and other artifacts to describe the intended user experience. Work collaboratively with designers and developers to develop highly usable interface functionality.
• Prepare for and facilitate usability tests, focus groups, and other customer requirements gathering & validation exercises.
• Develop accurate and concise requirements documentation. Choose appropriate documentation strategies for each project and audience, including user stories, use cases, scenarios, detailed functional descriptions, annotated wireframes, flow charts and other visuals. Guide and review requirements documentation produced by other team members.
• Investigate web sites, blogs, and listservs; perform competitive analysis of current and future product offerings; stay current on industry issues and market trends; organize and documenting findings.
