QUAL: Strong skills in materials selection, organization, information literacy, technology, and teaching both students and staff are required.

DUTIES: We seek an experienced, energetic, professional library/media specialist to serve Rutland High School and the Stafford Technical Center. Rutland High School is located in scenic Rutland, Vermont, near to Killington Resort.
The successful candidate will provide library services and instruction in both schools (located in one building on the main campus), ensuring that information literacy is integrated across the curriculum; budget and manage a library/media collection that is standards-based; and, select and maintain a collection of learning resources in a variety of formats. Experience in the use and application of "new media" is a must. In addition, the successful candidate will work directly with students and serve as an instructional resources consultant to teachers, departments, and school leaders. Willingness to assume a visible role in the wider community is also desired.
