DUTIES: Library Media Specialists are an essential link who connects students, teachers and others with the information resources they need. To fulfill this role, the effective LMS draws upon a vision for collaboration, leadership, and technology. The library media program teaches students to access, evaluate, and interpret information from a wide variety of sources. It promotes literacy and the enjoyment of reading, viewing, and listening.
