Continuing Education at Simmons
The Simmons College GSLISCE program serves the library/information professional community by offering an extensive and continually changing array of continuing education opportunities in all areas of library and information services and operations. There are more than 40 half-day, full-day, evening, and weekend institutes and workshops each semester at the Simmons campus, the Mount Holyoke campus, and asynchronously online.
GSLIS students are strongly encouraged to attend CE workshops. The workshops focus on information not provided within the regular curriculum. Because most of the participants in the workshops are professionals already working in the information field, current GSLIS students expand their professional network. Current GSLIS students receive a 50% discount on all CE workshops.
