Professor Rodriguez-Mori, who joined the faculty in Fall 2008, received his doctorate in library and information studies from Florida  State University. He specializes in information-seeking behavior in interpersonal relationships and social networks, information behavior patterns of English-as-a-second-language speakers, and diversity in LIS practice and research. He has taught library science courses at universities including the University of Arizona, the University of Denver, Wayne State University, and Florida State University. Rodriguez-Mori has published articles and done presentations on issues related to music reference, Spanish-language access, multicultural opportunities for research, and increasing the diversity of Ph.D. candidates in library and information science. He also served as the Spanish/diversity/outreach librarian for the Arapahoe Library District in Englewood, CO.
