All GSLIS students register through an online system called AARC. Fall registration takes place in April, spring registration takes place in November, and summer registration takes place in March. New students register on Advising Day, which is generally held two months prior to the beginning of their starting term, and is specifically designed to allow students to meet with their faculty advisor to discuss course planning before registering for their first set of courses.
In some cases, registration cannot be done directly by students online. The Student Services Manager (gslishelp@simmons.edu) oversees registration processes and can answer any questions about the registration process or about individual student needs.
