Doctor of Philosophy / Managerial Leadership in the Information Professions

The Ph.D. focused on managerial leadership in the information professions (MLIP) is part degree program and part research institute. Students, faculty, and professors of practice work together to build an enduring legacy of exceptional leadership in the information professions through collaborative knowledge sharing and rigorous research. The program is also guided by a prestigious and diverse Board of Advisors.

Information professionals who have already attained a middle to senior level in their career and are poised to make lasting contributions to the field constitute the candidate pool most likely to leverage the greatest value from the Ph.D. focused on managerial leadership in the information professions. Small annual cohorts of five to ten work closely together in program activities and research projects.
