SO Close...

A handful of projects all due at the same time are collapsing together into a singularity of stress and insomnia, but it'll be over soon. SO SOON!

And then on Friday I'll be off to see The Hobbit with one of my friends from the GCS program. And next Friday I'm having a solstice gathering with a few new frieds from the Children's Literature department.

I haven't posted much at all about the Children's Lit class I took this semester, "Criticism of Children's Literature." It was a really well-taught class that gave me a good foundational understanding of different schools of critical thought as they apply to the field of children's literature. I'm doing my final paper for the class on Snake Dreamer, a book I adored as a child, and that is still close to my heart.
