Super Graduate Studies Information Fun Time

Today's laugh: How many licks?
Today's song: King Missile - Detachable Penis

Since my past news, I feel every moment now like I'm waiting to get a puppy for Christmas; only replace "Christmas" with "January" and "puppy" with "shot in ass by hairy male nurse." Due to the potential hilarity that may ensue at my own expense, I've actually been considering taping my first time. It's kind of like taping a birth; you want to remember it forever, but good luck getting anybody to ever watch it. I believe the experience will go something like this. Admittedly, this poses the idea that I'll have somebody with me enduring a sympathy placebo shot. Jeremy; I'm looking at you, dude. (Is Milo kidding? Stay tuned.)

So I'm blogging quick after returning from being part of the graduate studies information morning. (Yeah...I have no clue what it's actually called.) I'm actually quite happy I got the opportunity to do this. I got to officially meet the sweetheart known as Brenda, got to do some more appropriate and helpful one-on-one with potentials (as opposed to my usual e-mailing without ever meeting), and the GCS world and its relations unsuspectingly stroked my ego. I've also found out in the past two days that I have far more readers of my blog than I would have imagined. *smug*

In related news, Kristin Haack from admissions always puts me in a good mood. No, seriously, I'm only half sucking-up right now. I've realized today that every freaking time I talk to her, even if it's only for a moment, I feel better. Not sure why, but I suspect it's her awesomeness.

In unrelated news, don't bother with the blue raspberry slushes at TGI Friday's. Connoisseurs such as myself give it a rounding thumbs down.

I have my usual adventures to relay, but alas, I'm suddenly pressed for time. Another day.
