Critical Interpretation

Introduces literary criticism and the study of literary genres, historical periods, and major authors. Considers how we read, analyze, and write about literature from different critical perspectives. Specific genres, periods, and authors vary from semester to semester. Includes frequent, varied writing assignments. Required for all English majors.
