Job Description:
Responsible for developing and executing a wide range of editorial projects and assignments for internal customers (New York Life employees, agents and retirees) with primary focus on company newspaper and online publication. Perform assignments with minimal supervision.

Communications Consultant
Employer: New York Life Corporate Communications, New York City

Job Description:
Prepare employee communications including but not limited to management bulletins, web content, informational materials on compensation and benefits, and newsletter articles. Research business need, propose communications strategy, compile data, and work with communications staff or internal customer to finalize content, format and distribution. Under general supervision, plan, conduct and complete assignments. Operate with substantial latitude for action or decision. Assignments are broad in nature, usually requiring originality and ingenuity. Set priorities and meet schedules and time lines.

Requirements:
Minimum of 5-7 years experience in corporate communications. HR and benefits communications experience highly desirable.
