» MCM 2007 Graduate Reception

This year at Simmons College the Master's in Communications Management Program graduated one of it's largest classes yet, with thirty students completing degrees. The May 18 Graduate Reception was well attended. Many of the MCM students and their guests also attended the Colleges of the Arts and Sciences graduate event that evening, which was hosted by Dean Diane Raymond.

The mood was festive as friends and family joined graduates in a champagne toast to their hard work in the program and their many challenges and achievements along the way.

Program Director Joan Abrams congratulated the graduates, thanked friends and family for attending the celebration, and took the opportunity to recognize outstanding members in the MCM community. Kimberly Cannon was awarded the Beltz prize for academic excellence this year. Abrams also announced that MCM faculty members Bill Earle and Peter Masucci would receive Bernstein Service Awards for their dedication to their students and their continuing contributions to the MCM program.
