The Master's in Communication Management program has wrapped up another great year with a reception celebrating our graduating students. The reception was held on Friday, May 13th, 2005 in the Trustman Gallery at Simmons College. It was attended by more than 70 people; our graduates, family and friends as well as a number of Communications Department faculty and MCM adjunct faculty members. During the evening MCM Director, Joan Abrams presented two awards: the Beltz Prize for outstanding academic achievement and the Bernstein Service Award for service/community building within the MCM program. The recipients of the awards are respectively Elena Nikiforova and Mia Howard. It was a wonderful night and a great way to kick off the Simmons College Centennial Commencement ceremony that took place on Saturday, May 14th, 2005 at the Bayside Expo Center in Boston.
