Academic Advising

Every student at Simmons is matched with an advisor to help them craft the best course of study to achieve success. Each first-year undergraduate student is assigned a faculty advisor who explains academic requirements and opportunities, and helps her create a plan to best fulfill those requirements while also encouraging exploration. Beyond freshman year, academic advisors are more closely matched with student majors.

Center for Academic Achievement

The Center for Academic Achievement's goal is to assist all students to become independent learners by providing the appropriate resources and services. The Center assists both undergraduate and graduate students. Services include matching students with tutors, advising students on study skills and time management, and offering English as a Second Language assistance, as well as accommodations for students with disabilities.
