Throughout the year, the SLIS Admission team travels nationwide to meet prospective students at graduate school fairs and conferences. If you would like to connect, please RSVP to an upcoming event by clicking on the corresponding registration form. If you are unable to attend a particular event, you can complete the registration form and indicate your interest in scheduling an individual meeting with an admissions representative while we are in your area.

California Forum for Diversity in Graduate Education: October 27, 2018, San Diego, CA 

The California Forums for Diversity in Graduate Education, planned by a consortium of public and private colleges and universities from throughout California, have been designed particularly to meet the needs of advanced undergraduates and master's candidates who belong to groups that are currently underrepresented in doctoral-level programs. The groups include low-income and first-generation college students and especially African Americans, American Indians, Chicanos/Latinos, Filipinos, Pacific Islanders, Asian American women, and Asian American men in the arts, humanities, and social and behavioral sciences. If you aren't attending the conference, we'd be happy to set up a meeting while we're in your area. Just fill out the registration form and indicate your availability (date/time) surrounding the fair. We'll do our best to accommodate your request.

Smith College Graduate School Fair: October 4, 2018, Northampton, MA - 3:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

This graduate fair is only open for students currently enrolled at any of the Five Colleges consortium in Pioneer Valley. If you are able to attend, please let us know by registering. Rhode Island
New England Library Association Conference: October 22-24, 2018, Warwick, RI

The New England Library Association's (NELA) 2018 Annual Conference is only open to registered attendees. If you plan to attend, please let us know by filling out the registration form.
