Graduate Studies Admission Information Session

Information Session for graduate programs in Education, Special Education, Behavior Analysis, History, English, Public Policy and Gender/Cultural Studies.

Location: Simmons College, Main College Building

Register for our Information Session on Saturday, January 30th at 10:00 am! At the session, you will have the opportunity to meet with Graduate Studies Admission representatives as well as hear about your program of interest from the Graduate Program Director. A week or so prior to the event, you will receive an email confirmation with details about the event, including MBTA/driving directions.


  • 9:15 am-Events registration begins. Check-in with Graduate Studies Admission representatives and pick up parking pass if you drove to campus
  • 9:30 am- Although the formal session begins at 10:00 am, there is an optional Financial Aid overview for those interested
  • 10:00 am- Welcome/Introduction
  • 10:10 am-Prospective students break into groups by program of interest to meet with Program Director
  • The program generally ends between 11-11:30 am, depending on the size of the group and how many questions are asked.

This particular session is scheduled adjacent to the School of Library and Information Science information session about the Children's Literature program. This will allow students interested in our dual degree programs with Children's Literature (MA)/Teaching (MAT) and Children's Literature (MA)/English (MA) to learn more about both degree programs! *Please note if you are interested in a dual degree program (for example, Teaching and English), you will have to choose one program session to attend.

**If you are interested in a program in Social Work, Nursing, Management, or Library and Information Science, their admission offices have a different event calendar. If you have trouble finding their calendar, please contact us and we will direct you to it.
