BiblioTemps®, a service of the Massachusetts Library System, seeks library students and graduates to fill short-term assignments at libraries throughout Massachusetts. Candidates will be assigned to help manage public service desks, complete special projects, or assist with other aspects of library operations. Placements may be in circulation, cataloging, reference, archives, web design, children and youth services, or other areas. Assignments may range from one day substitutions to multi-month interim placements. Benefits of temping include building experience for your resume, developing your professional network within the field, and exploring different library environments. In addition, temporary positions may sometimes lead to permanent job offers.

To be considered for an on-site interview, submit your resume and a brief cover letter to "SLIS On-Site Interviews" at www.bibliotemps.com/jobs. Visit www.bibliotemps.com for more information.
