"Repeal and replace Obamacare... with what, and why? New directions under President Trump and the Republican Congress

The new administration and Congress promise a change of direction in health policy—a substantial reworking of so-called Obamacare, President Obama’s most important domestic initiative, officially known as the Affordable Care Act (ACA). On Monday, April 3, two nationally recognized experts will help us understand where we are and where we are headed:

  • Joseph Antos, PhD, Wilson H. Taylor Scholar in Health Care and Retirement Policy at the American Enterprise Institute, where his research focuses on the economics of health policy, with a focus on market-oriented approaches to reform.
  • Nancy Turnbull, MBA, Senior Lecturer in Health Policy at the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health, a leader in health policy and health reform, consumer representative on the board of the Massachusetts Health Connector which governs the state’s health insurance exchange, and former president of the Blue Cross-Blue Shield of Massachusetts Foundation.
